Setup 4G Connection

Here is how to set up the 4G USB device as the Primary connection for your SimpleWAN unit:
  1. Activate the correct supported failover card on a computer and connect to the Internet. Make sure the firmware is up to date and you can get online.

  2. Test on the computer for signal where the device will be installed.

  3. Plug in the SimpleWAN box in a wired connection and make sure it talks to the dashboard and downloads all of its settings.

  4. Install the wireless device on the SimpleWAN box's USB port.

  5. Change the WAN/WAN2 settings in the dashboard to the proper 4G Device.

  6. Verify the sync time shows it sync in the dashboard.

  7. Reboot the box
