Setting up your @Home unit

Setting up your @Home unit

Getting Started

When you first get your SimpleWAN device, you should have several items in the box:

  1. SimpleWAN @Home device
  2. Power Supply
  3. An Ethernet Cable
  4. Unboxing  Flyer
Write down the WiFi Password written at the bottom of the SimpleWAN device. It should be directly under the Barcode between the asterisks (*). The Password DOES NOT include the asterisks.

Installation

1) Plug in the SimpleWAN device's WAN port to an existing Internet Service and power up the unit.
2) The unit will download its configuration from the SimpleWAN Cloud Dashboard.
3) The Hardware Lights at the front of the unit should correspond with the activity the unit is doing. Once all 3 lights are available, you will hear a tune stating a successful boot.
4) Once successful, you may remove the SimpleWAN unit's WAN port and power cycle the unit by unplugging the Power and plugging it back in.
5) You may now connect your laptop/PC to the SimpleWAN device's LAN and proceed to test for internet connection.
